The Irish Government now issue biometric passports and have strict requirements for Irish Passport Photos. We take the time to ensure that your passport and visa photos are correctly sized and meet all the required specifications. At University Cameras we have the knowledge and technical expertise to get your passport and visa photos right the first time.
No appointments are required and we can usually print out your Irish passport and visa photos within minutes. University Cameras/Broadway Digital is open 6 days a week , weekdays 9am to 5pm and 9am to 2pm Saturdays and located at within Broadway Fair Shopping Centre at 88 Broadway, Nedlands, Perth opposite the Pharmacy and IGA. Only a 10 minute drive from Perth CBD.
Below is an outline of Irish Passport Photo Requirements
- If spectacles are worn the eyes must
be clearly visible - Two identical recent photos are needed
- The passport photos must be no more than 6 months old
- Irish Passport photo requirements state that no teeth be visible
- You must have a neutral expression and you must not smile
- Face and shoulders must be in the middle for Irish Passport Photos
- Irish Passport Photos must have natural skin colour
- The length from chin to crown of head must between 32 mm to 36 mm
- The minimum photo size is 35mm x 45mm and max size is 38mm x 50mm
- There must be no shadows on the face or background in Irish Passport Photos
- Photos must be taken against a plain, white background
- Black and White or colour is acceptable
- No red eye is allowed in Irish Passport Photos
